昨夜のバンド練習は良かった。
バンドとは行き詰まるようで、
続けていると小さな閃きからのアイデアが増幅されて、
もうこれ以上無理かなと思っていた事が、意外にも進んだりする。
これこそ計算の出来ないバンド相乗積。
酒からも睡眠からも食欲からも性欲からも仕事からも人とのシガラミからも解放される瞬間。
自分との戦いの場でもあるが、至福の瞬間。
昨夜はまず、ストラトキャスターを持ち込んだ。
ブルーマスクの頃のルーリードやロバートクインの音色が出したくて。
ちょっと違うけど、ガラスを割るような音でバンドサウンドが引き締まった。
練習の一時間半前にスタジオに行き、
グレッチカントリークラッシックの弦を変えたにも拘わらず、
２時間の練習中、ずっとストラトキャスター弾きっぱなし。
高校一年の時に新聞配達して初めて買ったギターが、
確かフェルナンデスのストラトキャスターだった。
で、本日昼間からユーチューブで、
ジョーストラマーの"Walk on the wild side"を見ていたら、
思わず涙が出そうになる。
何気ないただのカバーでさりげなく始まるんですが、
観客との関係を含め、素晴らしいです。
１％の不満もありません。
まあ、見てみて下さい。
パンクとかロックンロールとか音楽とかの全てが詰まっています。
きっと涙が出そうになるはずです。
いや、声を出して無くかもしれません。
